Newfoundland Comfort Food

I love fish and chips, and was a bit disappointed when I couldn't find a good fish and chips restaurant in Newfoundland after 2 weeks touring until I hit Newfoundland Comfort in Corner Brook; plus they used cod fish not haddock! The ribs were delicious too...2 thumbs up for both.

First time eating from here, but definitely won't be my last. Ordered the fish and chips for Good Friday and had it delivered. The food was hot and still crispy when it arrived. Great batter on the fish, not too thick, but still.coating the fish well. The fries were cooked to perfection. I also ordered onion rings which were also crispy and fried perfect. If this restaurant can produce this quality on such a busy day, I'm looking forward to the next meal from here.

In corner brook for couple days and was really craving a burger was ready to go to another chain restaurant in the city and spend over $25 but came across this little Gem of a spot and boy did it ever please every craving I had. The fest for one was by far the best bang for the buck I could find. Delicious tasty burger and tasty mash potatoes with cheese gravy and bacon…. What can go wrong with that and to top It all off deep fried Oreos for dessert 🤤
